Testing electric at home base
Just moved my TT to my house today from my storage. ( first tow with new ecoboost !! Nice )
Anyway, I am plugged up to 110 via a little black plug converter ( steps down from 30 to 15 ), and using a 15' contractor grade extension cord attached to TT 30A. Nothing but lights on 110 circuit now.
1- Is it ok to test the systems, one at a time, ( except a/c )? I am getting ready for a trip and TT has been sitting about 3 months.
Test these things: hot water heater ( 6gal, 8800btu ), microwave, frig. I will fill HWH before testing if ok to test.
2-just bought a new progressive ems. Is it ok to hook it up under these conditions? Just want to see how it works while I have time to spare.
Probably silly questions, just don't want to hurt anything just before 1st trip in 2014. My biggest concern is the water heater.
Thanks
