Dining Table in Mini Lite

We have a Rockwood 2503s with a removable dining table. My question is what do you do with the table when travelling? Do you lower it down or leave it up? If up does it move around a lot or do you anchor it to the floor.
  • When we had our Hybrid trailer 12 years ago,we always put the table down in the "bed" position. The trailer had very little outside storage and we were able to put totes under the table in the foot void area. we could also use the "bed" to hold clothing while traveling as the hybrid also had one foot locker size closet but no where for any thing else we carried.
  • I believe I have the same table. I drop mine down to where it fits in between the dinette seats; it has never moved when traveling. I store stuff underneath it as well.
  • We lay ours over on it's side. We put something around the legs so it doesn't move around. The table lays over on the bench seats.
  • Travel with it in the down position; if left up, the legs/foot will scratch up the surround wood. Don't ask how I found this out
  • I have a movable table on two folding leg sets. I leave it next to the Dinette when traveling. The legs are sturdy and my trailer doesn't bounce or sway like some.
