Anybody use them? I did a search with no results here. My hand just barely fits through the spokes and it takes forever to air up the inner tires before I load the camper. My neighbor says he tried them years ago and they're ****. Hoping for some feedback.

They are most of the time consider "one more item to fail".I used CATseye equalizer years ago and lost the tire becouse one of the hose leak. IMHO if you don't have TPMS on your dually - buy equalizer like Crossfire and add TPMS on top of it.

My 2015 Chevy came with factory supplied extenders on the inside dual wheels. They are essentially plastic valve caps with a check valve on the end of them that replace a standard valve stem cap. You just press the tire gage or the air chuck against them check or add air. They have worked without any issues for over 40,000 miles. I have heard that a lot of people who purchased less quality ones have have nothing but problems.I can't figure out how to post a picture so my suggestion is to visit a Chevy or GMC dealer and take a look at a dually truck. Maybe even buy two of them from their service department.LeRoy

What is needed is a extended valve stem that will let you quickly check your tire pressure.Braided Extenders have a very bad habit of leaking. The best on the market,that are the original,are Tire Man. Chuck is the original designer of these an he has been around for years. If you have any questions just give him a call, he is always happy to help. Any others are just cheap reproductions of the original. The kit looks like This it is for all 6 wheels,they also come with flow-thru valve caps so you don't even need to take then off to check the pressure.Here is a list of all the products he sells.They are compatible with all Tire monitor systems.

I had the cheap rubber ones on our duallys. They were over 10 years old without any problems. Put new tires on this spring and replaced the old rubber ones with the braided style. 2 months now without any problems. I can't imaginechecking and filling the tires without something to make it easier.Brian

If the hand holes don't line up the wheels are not on right or your wheels don't match.

Milton Industries is a good source for pneumatic air chucks, metal tire valves, and tire valve extenders, metal valve caps. They can be purchased on amazon.

I've used the short, brass, air through extenders on my dually metal tire valves for the past 10 years (~ 100k miles) with no issues. Milton has 3/4" ones up to 5"

I prefer to use a 12" long dual head air chuck vs. the more standard 6". Makes it easier to hold the chuck against and seal to the valve stem.

I prefer the straight foot dual head air chuck (693 series, bottom) to the angled head style (690 series, top) for airing up the duals.

That dual head filler are a PITA. I have a gauge where the outer fitting is straight instead of angled and it's the cat's meow. Now if I could find a filler with same straight head I will be set

Thanks for the info. This is my first dually so I don't know if all rim positions are the same. The hand holes are offset so the inner valve is covered which is why I have to put my hand through to get to it. And yes I do have a dual head chuck and a gauge with a flex hose. IAMICHABOD - I checked the picture from the Tire Guy. I'll check with him but those long valve stems wouldn't work on my rims because the holes are offset and the valve is hidden. His site shows a 4 and 8 hand hole and mine is 5. I hope he has something that will work. I will be going right past him on my way to Twin Lakes next week so we'll see.

Those extenders were on all six tires when I got my dually a few years ago and are still there now. Never a problem...and sure help, even with a long dual-head air gauge.

Agree, if not using dual head chuck- wrong tool (sticking your hand thru spoke?)
If the dual head chuck wont work then wrong valve stems on inner dual.
