- _tiredTeacherExplorer IIMy Rockwood came with a table It has a rail on one edge that attaches to the same rail the grill is on. It has a fold-down leg to stabilize it.
Here's a pic of my outside kitchen set up. The table has a "tree" clamped on it to hold paper towels, spices and utensils. (Ignore the clown on the left.)
Teach - RoyBExplorer IIALot of trailers come with the quick connect angle piece on the side of the trailer with an optional outside GRILL.
You can adapt this to a table top and sit your grill on it perhaps...
Here is link for a RV.NET post showing what one dude did..
ADDING TABLE TO SIDE OF RV
I personally am not a fan of having HOT flames near my trailer but see alot of folks doing it...
Roy Ken - BumpyroadExplorerIMHO attaching a grill onto the side of a RV is not a good idea. grease and smoke if under awning, I'd rather be able to move it to table where grease wouldn't matter. my grill came with the brackets and I haven't even installed them and have no plans to.
bumpy - RoyBExplorer IIBUMPY - made me chuckle here. I was moving around some boxes getting ready to throw out all my junk in the garage and start over again. I have two boxes in my garage with those side mounted grills in them - never opened haha... Maybe the grandkids can use them
I got my COLEMAN ROADKILL or ROADTRIP maybe is the proper name. It sets up stand alone under the awning but away from the side of the trailer... This comes in a roll around tote and has several additional different grill tops. Use the 1LB propane canisters which is great for me as this makes always have a few of those canisters on hand all the time. Runs my backup MR Buddy heat source..

I had one of those on my last TT...interestingly enough there was a warning on the awning that talked about cooking underneath.....I never used the grill there as I had visions of a grill flare up that went up into the awning and then game over....instead I bought a portable "Coleman Roadtrip". It's great....I even use it at home and have left my very expensive Weber under the winter storage.

Roy Ken - Bigbird65ExplorerI think I'll take the advice and keep the grill out from under the awning on a folding table. Thanks
- RoyBExplorer IIProbably not a bad idea but alot of folks do it. Don't know what the chances for a fire is.
Would certainly ruin my camping day haha...

Hey don't give up on setting up a table top to the side of your trailer. Would make for a great portable TV setup... We always have two of those fold-out wood slats tables (LOWES) sitting on both sides of the trailer door. Great catch all for things...

My first TT came with one installed from the factory. Thought it was really a neat idea. NOT.
I used it once and never again. Grease, smoke goes up the side of your RV and if the winds is blowing in the wrong direction it heats up the wall of your RV.
HAve a window open and the smoke goes inside your RV.
BBQ on a Portable table away from the RV and positioned depending on the wind is IMHO the only way to go when BBQ'ing around an RV. - wkandxjExplorerI've a rear swing mount. Convenient and away from the wall.
This one isn't mine, just an image I found online but same thing.
