Portable Ice Maker
My wife & I looked at a small portable electric Ice makers at local camping store. Has anyone used one ? Would you buy one again ?

- We stick ice trays in the RV frig's freezer compartment or empty the ice maker at home into a large plastic bag in the RV frig freezer.

My wife complains and says it's too big, but she sure does seem to like having ice in her drinks. ;) - They look like they are all made by the same company just with different names on the side. Buy the cheapest one you can find....

- Today we bought a Vacuum Sealer for the Trailer. Next weekend Camping _____ has a sale on a S/S Dometic one for $159.00. I'll continue to shop around this week on Amazon ect for a better price. Thanks everyone for the good news I wanted to hear...
- We love ours. We bought the higher priced, stainless steel model for around $150. We also bought two more for our kids who live in apartments that don't allow frig ice makers. The last time camping in 95 degree weather, it kept up with 6 drinking adults. The ice came out faster with the small cubes and wasn't soft.
- We have had our portable ice maker for about 3 or 4 years now, we like it.
- We have a NewAir, which made enough ice to keep up with three coolers for 2 weeks this summer, temps in the high 80's.
- Would not leave home without it, one of the first things I get going while setting up, Cost $100.00
- My neighbor has one and loves it. Then again I have never met anyone that drinks as much beer as he does.
