It's not very expensive, and it's a plug and play device, no setup, easy. Once you've plugged that in, you'll have no issue with signal loss, unless you have some other issue, which can always be worked out and fixed if you let us know. Some folks need the repeater and some don't. It just depends on your coach and what other electronic equipment you have running etc. I recommend buying one and if you end up not needing it, full refund. No problem. She is right. My Laredo never had a problem but those same sensors lost signal on the right side of new Montana. Put a repeater in the front bay next to the battery with a switch and it has worked perfect ever since.
