Depends on the brand. With an Equal-i-zer, you set it up (adjusting for proper height and stuff) while unhooked, and if you measured correctly there is no need to adjust anything when you hook up.
Thought that, but not had one myself before. We drive a TC, only tow cargo trailer. But daughter has a heavy trailer and dips RE a lot when trailer on the ball. So, will probably do super-springs and WD hitch.
