Probably but you'll get better answers if you define the configuration of the truck, there are many configs.

After pulling for many years with an at capacity truck and now pullling with a truck that has way more capacity than I need, I would go for an F250.

You need an F-250 to pull a trailer that will likely weigh less then 8,000 lbs?

Why limit yourself to a marginal vehicle for what your asking of it?

Your getting right up close to the limits and what about the stuff that goes into the truck. What is that going to do the GCVW to the truck.

I prefer a HD truck, but to each their own..

Many many people are pulling very large trailers with 1/2 tons, too large IMHO but Ford, mainly, says they can do it.

If all you are doing is pulling a trailer with an empty bed that's one thing, but if you take bikes, quad, a dog, or anything in the bed that has some weight to it you run out of capacity very quickly.

Location has a lot to do with it as well. What many people do out Midwest or east I would never do in the PNW.

I have a TT with similar specs. to which you're referring. I'm with the folks recommending the F250. You'll not only have better suspension but better braking capability as well.

I drive 365 days a year. I tow maybe 15 of those days. For me the trade off in loss of fuel economy, worse ride quality, more expensive maintinence and registration, and not being able to fit in my garage, leaves a 3/4 ton truck out of the equation. I can't justify using a 3/4 ton as a daily driver, which I need to do with my truck. I drive 3/4 and 1 ton vehicles every day for work. They're absolutely terrible compared to a 1/2 in terms of everyday driveability.

As long as you have an F150 with appropriate payload, it will handle a trailer that size without batting an eye.

It'll tow that without breaking a sweat!
I have ZERO control issues with my 7500# plus toy hauler.
