My slide has a 2" metal edge covered with carpet that extends past the metal edge 3" to make the transition when the slide is open. Must I leave the carpet on or is there some way to do the wood flooring at the slides edge?Air in deisel fuel line - motor won't startI changed the fuel filter on my 2002 Fleetwood Excursion and some how got air in the fuel lines. The engine is a Cat 3126 - 330 HP. The motor on my coach has NO primer pump. The fuel lines going to the injectors are all covered. After tearing my coach apart to find all of this out I contacted a mobile diesel mechanic. He restarted my motor in 10 MINUTES. He took off the air cleaner intake duct and while I turned over the motor shot quick start(ether)with WD 40 at the same time into the air intake duct. The motor ran rough at first but after the 3rd attempt the motor was purring like a Cat should. He says the WD 40 added to the quick start adds lubrication to the cylinders . He also said you have to be carful when doing this and make sure the motor is turning over before you begin the spraying. I just thought I would post this just in case someone else has the same problem in the future. Hope it helps.Re: ENTRY DOOR HANDLE NO LONGER LIGHTING UPMine went out also and the other responses are correct. I replaced my light bulb with a similar type led bulb I found at West Marine. It worked ok but not quite as bright as the original light. I finally ordered the whole new handle from Fleetwood. Good luck.Help 2003 Fleetwood A/C outMy dash AC quit working. The front evaporator fan quit. The snowflake green button on the dash doesn't light up. Blowers inside still work - just blow hot air. Is there a fuse that controls my problem? Of course it a holiday weekend - can't find a mechanic till Monday. Any advise would be appreciated. I have a 330 Cat engine and a freightliner chassis. ThanksRe: Cruise control will not de-activate when hitting brake pedalI finally resolved the problem. I had a pin hole in the power wire that leads into the brake switch. It drove me crazy because I had power going to the switch but when I applied the brakes the power would drop to zero. While moving the wire it broke off in my hand. Anyway the problem was a bad wire the whole time. Cruise control and brake lights all work well now. Thanks for all the help and suggestions. They steered me in the right direction. Great forum !!Cruise control will not de-activate when hitting brake pedalThe cruise control on my 2003 Fleetwood DP will not de-activate when I hit the brake pedal. Scared the hell out of me the first time it happened (in a curve). I have lifted the pedal and checked for trash and there was not any. Could it be a fuse issue or is there a switch that may need replacing? Any suggestions would be appreciated.Lost power on wiper blades, air horn, cruise controlMy Nieghbor has a 2005 Winnabego Journey and he has lost power to air horn, wiper blades, and cruise control. This happened before and I replaced the switch. It worked about 3 times and now it is failing again. I have a 2003 Fleetwood Excursion with Power Gear slides. I manually wrench it in to get to our next spot but just wondering if anyone has had this same problem. Any suggestions ? ThanksRe: Help -slides will not extendNo -no noise at all ??
