If it doesn't hold vacuum, would be a waste to add any, there's a leak.Re: Dash air on 2000 Ford F53Google shimming Ford A/C compressor. We're in the same boat, 2018 Pacifica. He was half way here delivering ours and turned around. Now saying delivery will not be until late September. Just curious if anyone else has had any "ordering" problems lately.Re: Road side assistance, road side robberyWell I don't want to "count my chickens" just yet. But just received an email from GS after making one last phone call. They've agreed to refund the $185. But why do I have to make call after call for what's obviously a simple refund? They knew they were in the wrong, this last person said there were "no previous attempts at a refund made", by us?!? Showed no records of our calls, funny this all seemed to fall in place when we contacted our CC company about being charged for services not rendered. Our CC company said to reach out one more time before moving forward.Re: Road side assistance, road side robbery GSRoadsideAssistance wrote: Hello phnguyk, Good Sam Roadside covers the service call and the mileage to bring 'the tire repair shop' to you at the side of the road. I get it, should be in the fine print is all.Re: Road side assistance, road side robbery guidry wrote: GSRoadsideAssistance wrote: Hello phnguyk, Good Sam Roadside covers the service call and the mileage to bring 'the tire repair shop' to you at the side of the road. Anyways, have been in contact, no satisfactory resolution can be made. Will be dropping it. Anything GS/CW is a joke. Funny thing is before I had GS, I paid $350 to have a flat front tire replaced on the side of the road.Re: Your Opinion -- Washer/Dryer?Think outside the box. Road side assistance, road side robberyOuter dually, valve stem snapped, GS tire specialist insists both stems need to be replaced at $187. Also the flat tire needs to be replaced (since it was run flat) at $585 in my size. 2 hours later assistance shows up, the tire did get chewed up and needed to be replaced, fine. The crew manage to find an off brand $225 tire and install it. All's good until GS calls to confirm, that $225 tire is $330, the original $187 for valve stems that they made us pay up front over the phone with a credit card (GS), isn't refundable since that service was provided, even though the crew told them they only replaced the one snapped stem and that it's included with the tire they replaced. They forced us into a hazard warranty on the new tire, all in close to a $800, labor wasn't covered. What in the hell does it provide then???
