I really like Ridgeway on the lake, but the wife likes to stay in a town/city so she can walk around to shops, etc.. Probably going to go with 4J in Ouray if I can get a spot.Re: Telluride, CO and a large Class A?I think our best options might be campgrounds in Ouray or Silverton. Anyone have experience with these towns and a recommendation?Re: Telluride, CO and a large Class A? diazr2 wrote: I was in Telluride a couple of years ago. Did not stay at this campground but it looked very nice.. Telluride Town Park Campground www.telluride-co.gov 500 East Colorado Avenue, Telluride, CO 81435 Unfortunately that campground is first come first serve (which will probably be full before we get there given the size of this Jazz Festival), and there is a 30ft limit....Telluride, CO and a large Class A?Our son will be performing at a Jazz Festival in Telluride in August. It doesn't look like there are any campgrounds we can fit in in the town. Does anyone have recommendations for campgrounds that aren't too far away, take reservations, and can fit a 40+ Motorhome?Re: Getting screwed by CoachNetJust to address another point someone brought up. The fronts are 315/80 22.5. Max pressure is 130psi. For the weight limit of the coach they needed to be at 125 (according to Michelin tables), which is where it was set by the dealer. Since it was brand new, he hadn't had the chance to weigh the coach himself yet to see if it could come down a little to 115 or 120, but 125 should have been safe.Re: Getting screwed by CoachNetJim and Betty - PM sent. I would love a copy of that email for when I call them back and rip them a new one for refusing to cover my dad because he bought his coach at camping world. Thanks, Richard.Re: Getting screwed by CoachNetJust to clarify, when my father was talking to coach net, he mainly wanted a front wheel and tire, and Coach Net said he wasn't covered because he got the coach at CW. They never said we will cover a tow to X location, and anything farther is on your dime. They flat out refused to cover the cost of anything. I didn't believe him when he told me this story, so I tried to help, and got the same response. I demanded to talk to the manager, and she told me the same thing. It is interesting that Jim and Betty got a different reply. My guess is that Coach Net is trying to cover , and it is easy to say that now that they don't have to provide hundreds of dollars in service anymore.Re: Getting screwed by CoachNetI think a couple of you came up with the correct explanation, even though I don't like it. He had CoachNet on the previous MH. He trades it in for a new Motorhome from Camping World which is supposed to come with Good Sam coverage. CoachNet knows this. Therefore they tell my dad he has to use Good Sam. Of course, Good Sam could say you had CoachNet first, so call them first. My own experience with CoachNet several years ago when an injector failed on my 2009 Phaeton was good. They sent a tow truck and towed me pretty far to the Cummins repair center. I just don't know if I want to renew with them after the way they treated my dad, but wonder if Good Sam is any better. And if you are buying a motorhome from Camping World and have CoachNet, you might as well call them and cancel the policy and see if they will give you some of your money back, because they won't cover you.Re: Getting screwed by CoachNetThey have the Basic plan, which comes with unlimited towing and tire assistance, which is what they needed. They ended up getting a hold of Progressive insurance, which covers the RV, and Progressive got Good Sam to help. Coach Net continued to say they weren't covered because they got the motorhome from Camping World, and if they sent someone, he would have to pay out of pocket. The entire experience has my parents pretty depressed (the blow out and damage to the coach more than anything else). Once the dust settles, I hope he calls Coach Net and demands a refund.Re: Getting screwed by CoachNetNobody was hurt, which is the most important thing. He said he had no trouble controlling the coach and getting it to the side of the road, but apparently the vibrations were shaking him so badly, he could hardly see what he was doing. P.S. - Going to bed now. Have to do surgery in the morning. I will update again tomorrow afternoon. Thanks everyone.
