How many of us out there?Replied to this thread EARLY on and wanted to let everyone know - our 2008 Fleetwood Fiesta purchased from El Monte RV in Santa Fe Springs Ca. is still going strong and serving us well. We bought it in 2013 with 72K miles. It now has 93K and we have repaired/replaced the following: Breaker for microwave - ourselves - me to be specific 2 house batteries Tires just in January New roof coating in January Fuel pump on generator - Son installed Starter - Son installed Rear bushings - Son installed Resurfaced and painted entry steps, including new slip guard strips - me Engine battery in 2018 4 of the gas door shocks/lifters - me Numerous drawer latches inside - me Numerous cargo door outside latches - me Removed behemoth old RCA TV and turned the gaping hole into a storage area (ok hubs helped get the TV out). Added insulated board to keep it cooler, and a cute homemade curtain with tension rods. Lengthened the outdoor shower hose and created an easy up/tarp enclosure that can be stowed. Granddaughters prefer privacy when showering at the beach.- me Did a work-around via phone with an RV tech on water heater on a Friday afternoon at 5 PM. Thanks El Cajon guy! - me Replaced cracked fridge handle - me Replaced kitchen faucet - me and hubs Changed out all lights inside to LED - me Cleaned and re-aligned stove burner starters - me Added rain gutter spouts - Me and bro-in-law Removed upholstered kick-panel under couch so I could add baskets for storage of games and cards etc. Shes in really good shape and we hope to have her another 25 years! BeckiRe: Atwood 3 burner stove grateDometic! Why didn't I think of that! Will try that today thank you!Re: Atwood 3 burner stove grateMy former rental is doing great! We are super happy with it still! I did try the Atwood website with no dealers near us and some of the dealers listed are no longer in business. I do like the idea of sandblasting and repainting. As for model number, I can't find it but the stove oven combo is 10 years old.Atwood 3 burner stove grateMy 3 burner stove grate is getting pretty corroded. I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere. Sure there is one on ebay and Amazon with one single support running vertically down the middle, but my original has 2 vertical support thingies and I'd like to find one that matches. I looked for Atwood parts suppliers and that was not successful. Any ideas on where I'm might find a replacement? TIA"Y Pipe" on 2008 Fleetwood FiestaMechanic says I need to seal a "hole or crack" in the Y pipe. Says it won't pass smog if I don't, and of course, its due for smog in May. Any words of wisdom? Apparently its an invisible "hole or crack" because we don't see it when we get under the RV to check it. Can it be sealed with a magic goo like JB Weld or something? TYIA!Re: NATIONAL PARK CAMPSITE FEE PAID BY CHECKWow! Thanks for the insight everyone!NATIONAL PARK CAMPSITE FEE PAID BY CHECKI went to Sequoia National Park a month ago (June 6-16) and paid for 2 campsites using checks...they still have not cashed them. Does it usually take that long??Re: Buying a Former Rental Class C. How many of us out there?I posted waaaaay back there in the beginning of these posts but I'll revisit here how happy we've been with our previous rental, class A, Fleetwood Fiesta 34N from El Monte RV. We've had it 2 years now - it is a 2008 - and we got 75 pages of service records. It was maintained meticulously, most of the repairs were from body damage, and was refurbished to like new condition on the inside. We have gone to Yellowstone from So Cal twice, and done many many short trips. We take very good care of it and we love it. EMRV was fair, helpful, honest and wonderful to work with. We dealt with the Santa Fe Springs location. Two of our co worker's were so impressed with what we got that they went there and bought their used RVs too! We couldn't have done better anywhere. She's parked at the curb getting packed for the weekend and we're off on another adventure!whete is my fresh water tank fill valve?Trying to figure out where the valve is to direct city water into the fresh tank. Looked at the online manual and the photos are blacked out. No valve close to the inlet valve. Blue valve jndle by the water pump but not sure this is the one. Ideas? Anyone have a photo? Fleetwood Fiesta 34N. Same Op Man as Terra 2008.Re: Moving to the Class A sectionOooh that's pretty! Congrats! We love our Fleetwood!
