We do this for a day trip while camped at Hillman Ferry. LBL. I usualy find folks very happy to help on these forums. I once got it for saying Destin instead of destin fl. Thanks for the compliment on our flood wall. Paducah is a pretty interestly place to visit. We appreciate each and every tourist that come to our area. LOTS of places to eat out, both local and chain restaurants. We are also invite folks to consider moving to our area. A great arts center, a wonderful Carson Arts Center where many nationally known entertainer preform and Paducah is a large medical center. An incredible school system with several distinguished schools and very reasonable taxes. Thanks! If so, how well does it work, can you put a lot of stuff inside, advantages, drawbacks? I viewed the setup vid, and it seems like it'd be nice for boondocking where there's no level ground. drsteve, I don't own one of these yet. I should have explained from the start. I wasn't planning on staying in the tent at Fort Wilderness. I will be staying in our motorhome and was going to put the tent up behind the motorhome for a photo shoot for an outdoors retail store. I was just wondering if anyone had tried it. But, to answer your questions, the design of the tent, divides it into three separate floor sections so each person is supported separately. The gross weight capacity is 880 pounds. All the reviews I have read have been very positive. Another advantage to me, is you are not on the ground, so less suseptiable to snakes! Plus, it just looks cool! I am considering taking one on and ATV trip to Colorado this summer. I will repost after I purchase it and try it out locally.Re: New to us 2008 Winnebago Outlook 31CCongratulation on your new motorhome! I think you will enjoy it. I have had 4 31C winnebago products over the past 17 years and have never had a major problem that would have justified the purchase of an extended warranty. Also, the dealer telling you to allow half a day to go over your new RV, tells me you are at the right dealership! The only consistent issue I have experienced with the 31Cs is a coach door rattle. The dealer can usually adjust the door to stop the rattle, but it most often came back. This is easily cured by rapping two times around the latch post with electrical tape. When it starts to rattle again, take off the old tape and replace it with new. For me, it usually last for months. Send me a message if your have any particular questions. If I have knowledge in that area, I would be happy to help! Drive Safe.Has anyone used a Strongray tent at Disney's Fort WildernessI was wondering if anyone has used a Stiingray tent at Fort Wilderness. A Stingray tent by Tentsile, is hung from the trees and I was wanting to know if they are allowed at Disney's Fort Wilderness campground? Thanks SteveHow well did Fort Wilderness weather the hurricane ?I was wondering if Fort Wilderness suffered much damage from hurricane Matthew I believe today might be the first day campers are allowed back in the campground. We were at Disney (not FW) earlier this week and left Thursday. Thanks, SteveHas anyone tried Wipe New product on RV decals?I have a 2010 class C and the front decals are fading and I was thinking of replacing them, but thought I might try the " Wipe New" product on them first. Has anyone tried the Wipe New product on decals? Thanks, SteveRe: Winnebago Access Premier 31RP ...usedI have tried other brands of RVs, but have found Winnebago to be the best for me. I currently own a 2010 Access that I bought used two years ago. It was just like your situation, 7000 miles, looked brand new. We have had no problems. The tires were showing some cracking and Michilin replaced all 6 of them at a wonderfully low price! So it's Winnebago and Michilin for me. You should be able to buy it in the $50s. Good luck!Shower unit seperating from wallI have a 2010 Winnebago Access 31c. The shower unit has come loose from the wall on the hinge side of the shower door. The screws that go through the shower door frame and attaching the shower unit to the wall are no longer holding to the wall. Any experience on a similar issue or suggestions. I have pictures available. Thanks. SteveRe: Fort Wilderness QuestionAs mentioned before, go to FortFriends website, then look for "Fort Wilderness Sites". This part of their website list every loop and site at Fort wilderness and the level of difficulty to get into, easy, average and difficult. It also gives you the length and width on each site. The 500 loop has a very high number of sites listed as "Easy" to back into. Have a great time. We are going in Oct. SteveRe: New Sprinter motorhome with dieselJust my opinion, I would get a winnebago product. I have had a few motorhomes and I liked the Winnebagos in the past and currently
