Does anyone have a preference as far as make, model etc.? We have a 2008 Holiday Rambler pusher and have been hauling an open trailer behind with our vehicle. My husband has a great deal of experience as he was an over the road trucker all his life so that is not a problem. Just so many makes and models out there. ❚ Did you see the FTS "Announcement : READ BEFORE POSTING HERE"? Moved from FORUM TECHNICAL SUPPORT Black tank odorsWe purchased our motorhome used last October, in January we had our black water holding tank professionally cleaned. The fumes and odors are still coming into our motorhome even right after we dump. The odors are present every time we flush or even just open the toilet valve. When I dumped last time the gray water stopped flowing, when I lifted the hose to allow what was in there to finish dumping the hose filled up again and then dumped the rest of the gray tank. My question is this could my vent pipe be blocked or is it something else?Re: Class A fuel mileageWow! I think some of these responses are rude. No question should be considered dumb or inappropriate if you don't know the answer. Thank you to the people that just responded without their personal opinion on whether we can afford a motorhome or notClass A fuel mileageWe have been trying to decide whether to purchase a used Class A Diesel motorhome. We have been looking at a 2000 Itasca Horizon model 360B. It is a 35' with a 275 HP Cummins 5.9. Our question is what kind of fuel mileage can we expect. We realize that driving conditions, weather, etc. will make a difference so we are just looking for a average.Re: Oven sizeWow, thanks for the Lowes tip, I hadn't thought about going that way. Cooking and baking are my passion and the little ovens just don't cut it.Oven sizeIs there any reason outside of the obvious of the opening being a different size on why you can or cannot replace a 17" oven with a 21" oven. Many of the 5th wheels we have looked at to purchase have the smaller oven. We would like to replace that with the larger oven even if it means loosing a drawer or storage space under the oven.hanging pot & pan rackDoes anyone have a hanging pot and pan rack and would you recommend having one?air bags on truckWe were told that by adding air bags to our truck we could pull a 5th wheel that is heavier than the manufacturers recommendations. Does anyone know about this? We have been told by more than one RV dealership that this is so.Re: 2012 Cougar Ultra lite dining light repairThat is how I connected it back together, I'm wondering if it isn't the light fixture itself that is bad. It pops the breaker every time.2012 Cougar Ultra lite dining light repairThe switch went out on our dining light and I didn't mark how I took it apart. Now I'm not sure what wires go where. From the ceiling I have 2 solid white wires that come down together and 2 white/red wires. The lamp has 2 red wires, 2 white wires and the switch has 2 black wires.
