On a 2006 Monico 40' Windsor do I put the slides out first and then level or level and then put out the slides?

converter
I have a 2007 Fleetwood Terra and the converter that charges the house batteries is only putting out12.6 VDC. Is there any thing that I can do other than replacing it?

It is a 2007 Fleetwood Terra with an Onan 5.5 generator. I have no idea of the make of the converter or where tom look for it

battery charging
while dry camping I turned on the generator to charge the house batteries. It ran for over an hour with no load and did not charge the batteries. After an hour ride home the batteries were fully charged. Any ideas?
