Additional charges
Let me first say I understand campgrounds need to offset rising costs. It would be helpful if the utility, pedestal, electric, resort...fees were included in the "Trip Points" instead of trying to determine what additional charges there are at each campground. Sometimes the fees are almost the same as the points.5.1KViews0likes14Commentsc2c or thousand trails membership ??
So I was at a RV show and see the thousand trails booth.. got to talking with them and is sounds like the best thing since sliced bread is you know what i mean.. most stuff from a salespersons mouth is not exactly true and i temper that in to stuff i hear. In doing some looking around i see there are other membership programs as well. SO i am trying to get user of both/either plan to see which might be the better and why or the worse and why.. we plan on full timing while doing some work camping along the way. (amazon warehouse work in christmas time.) definitely want to go out west to BLM and other types of places to see sights and stuff. right now its all a pipe dream/plan but we are trying to get things ready to do this in some 4-6 yrs. So let me know what you think.. :)4.9KViews0likes19CommentsGood Nieghbor Parks
So upon receiving my new 2018 C2C resort directory I see you deceided to change the way you book GNP. which leaves me with a couple of questions... 1 how do I get my money back from the points I purchased? since I have a premier Membership I will not be able to use them? and ...2 seems all it did was make it harder for members to book GNP. which for me means I will probably never even look for them or use them. ...3 seems like a losing proposition all around. I'm sure they (GNP)will find all kinds of ways to block out the discount... when we first signed up it was because of the whole system $15-$20 /night for the GNP I think a reimbursement is in order to make up the difference, when most GNP are $35+ a night now!!!4.5KViews0likes23CommentsDecreasing supply of Diesel Fuel and DEF Fluid
Marcus, I just listened to the CEO of Pilot stations talking to Congress regarding them being notified by the Pacific Railroad that the rail company was told to reduce the amount of diesel fuel shipped by 20%. This also is to include a shortage of DEF Fluid. So what this means is any campers, RV's that own diesels will be effected. I would ask that the Good Sam Club send a letter, email, member forums for members to call their representatives on this matter. I just went to both Rural King and a Walmart Super Center and both were out of DEF fluid. We RV with a group of 6 all who own diesel trucks. This will totally effect our future travel as none of us want to be on the side of the road out of fuel or DEF fluid.4.2KViews0likes21Commentscampgrounds dropping out
