Caravaning
Hi All, I’m Kelly and I’m looking to find folks to possibly caravan with. I’m hoping to get to some of the National & State Parks across the US. I am a musician and a photographer and I love to explore! I love listening to music! Concerts, local bands, etc. Maybe even some theme parks! 🤗96Views1like1CommentTV UPGRADE QUESTIONS
I am a newbie. Purchased a 2007 Mandalay 40H earlier this year. My question is, all my TVs are dated and don't have any of the new technology of newer TVs. Want to upgrade, but want to know if you can buy regular smart TVs that you buy for your house that run on 110 volt or do I need to buy the ones that are specifically for RVs that run on 12/24 volt DC? There is a significant difference in pricing between the 2. I can get a 40" smart TV that works on 110volt for $150 but the 12/24volt DC TVs of the same size are in the $400 range. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.285Views1like11Comments2007 Thor Mandalay 40H power step stop working
Hello all, I have a 2007 Thor Mandalay 40H. Saturday I was putting some things in the coach for an upcoming trip. The power step worked as it should, no issues. Went back to the coach on Monday, opened the door, and the step failed to come out. Has anyone experienced this problem and what could be the possible issue and solution? We have a trip planned Labor day weekend so All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!Solved157Views1like4CommentsUpdating TVs
Hello all! I'm a newbie to RVing I just purchased a 2008 Four Winds Mandalay 40H Friday and one of the first things I noticed was the outdated televisions. I am wanting to update them with new LED flat screens. My question is... Are there specific type of TVs and mounts used to mount them or does the typical mounts you buy for your residential house work? Any recommendations or things to avoid? All information is welcomed. Trying to do it right, THE FIRST TIME.177Views0likes7Commentsneed help! 2012 Itasca Reyo not charging house batteries
leaving in couple days and house batteries less than year and a half old not charging. Will charge when plugged in to shore power but not when driving down the road. Replaced the trombetta battery isolator solenoid with a napa ST80 as researched on other websites but still no go. the ST80 is showing charging voltage on one side of 14.5 volts while running but the other side is still 11.7 volts which is the current house battery voltage, and the small terminal has nothing showing. The large fuse near the house batteries is good. Any ideas?1.2KViews0likes6CommentsREV Rv Decatur In
Recently I had to make a trip from Nashville to Decatur Fleetwood Service Center. Had a few issues repaired. My steps on our Providence would not retract. They repaired the steps at the facility. After returning to Nashville the steps again would not retact again. I called a mobile service repair, had a bill for $974.00. I wrote a letter to the Service manager and to my surprise a check showed up for $941.00. That is true customer service by Them. You do not see that these days. Hats off to them604Views1like1CommentWhat is this and where can I get one ?
10 years ago this part fell out on the ground when I put the slide out, out. I jacked up the slide high enough to put it back in. The slide out frame rides on this pad as it goes in and out. It is a hard plastic material but must be really tough to handle the motion. Last week it came out again. It is still in pretty good shape but I'm thinking it might be good to get a new one. What is it ? Where do I get it ? How should I attach it to the RV ? Originally it had 2 screws on it, but they broke off years ago, maybe some JB weld , not sure.2.2KViews0likes11Comments
