Add a 110v switch for water heater
I have a water heater that has its 110 switch outside. I want to add a switch inside, leaving the outside switch "on". The power inverter is directly below the central control panel. I'm thinking I can run the wires right down the wall. There is a small switch already on the panel for the DSI gas system. I'd like to use the same type of switch, lighted when on.
What kind of switch do I need? Do I run 110 to the switch, or is it a relay? This is in a 2015 Keystone Cougar. 30 amp, OEM system.
