No gas to fridge and stove

I agree with almost everything here, what I would do is knowing how these places seem to work after giving them a week is I would have done the mod myself and sent a bill to the dealer and the manufacturer. I know that is futile but if they cared, they would make sure the work gets done in a timely manner.

Just for kicks I would have sent a detailed chronology and my fix to Trailer Life mag for publication and ask for help collecting the bill.

It's good for a laugh anyway.

I had the same problem with my 2013 Lifestyle 37RESL. The line was pinched where it exits the fiver body, not on the folding arm. The fix was a new gas line 6 inches longer. Took 30 minutes to fix. All that was needed was the new line and a coupling to connect the two lines together and pull the old line out with new line following. A warranty fix.

I had the same exact problem. I think Shadoow described the situation and the fix perfectly.

The hose should be rubber. All the tech had to do was zip tie some reinforcement around the area where it flexed. It took less then an hour from start to finish. I know that because he did it while I waited.

This is a simple fix.

I've been fulltiming now since the beginning of this year and have had no problems with it.

I agree: 2 months to replace a gas line is beyond the pale. Actually, I think I would have started threatening a lawsuit somewhere between 2 and 3 weeks. As others have said, it can't take more than a couple hours work, tops. It ain't rocket science, fer Pete's sake.

depending on the condition of the gas line it could be a relatively easy fix. If it's like mine the gas line is routed to the outer side of the slide via a folding support channel that is designed to support and articulate the gas line as the slide is moved in & out. At the elbow of this arm is where the gas line tends to get pinched when the slide is in and the arm is folded up. There's supposed to be a wire spiral wound cover for the gas line in the elbow area to prevent the gas line from being pinched, but if there isn't enough slack available in the line at the elbow it gets pinched. There should be enough length in the gas line to get more slack at the elbow if you need to. If your gas line has been pinched too many times the line may have taken a 'set' where it now always pinch off when the slide is moved in. If that's the case the gas line has to be replaced.
