Hope I am not Hijacking, but this seemed like a good place to ask and help continue the discussion, if not I apologize.
I too am looking for tire opinions. Lost two (yes 2) due to tread separation on a 400 mile run yesterday. Got lucky on the first with minimal trailer damage. The second made up for that!!
Anyway when looking up some of the recommended tires in this thread I found the Goodyear G614 RST:

Is this the G614 that you guys are referring to? Good year is touting it as good for trailers.
Edit I should note My fiver has a 15K GVW, I have not weighed it, but suspect I am on the heavy side I carry a lot of crap!
Another edit, the max inflation on my current wheels is 80 PSI. Should I be replacing them as well? If so any recommendations?
What axles are under your trailer? What do you currently have for tires? At 15K it seems it may be to heavy for 6K axles. If it does have 6K axles, I would install Bridgestone Duravis R250's or Michelin XPS RIBs and never look back.
Axles above 6K, read on below - VVV
If you are going to swap out wheels, don't get more 16"ers. The 17.5" rims and 215/75R17.5 LRH tires rated to 4805 are the way to go. This gives you more tire choices and lots of extra capacity. Goodyears offering is the G114. Here is a link to it.
