Replacing ST 235/80/16 with LT
Looking at Firestone Transforce HT. My rims are 16x6.0, can I use 245/75/16 or do I need to stick with 235/85/16? My axles are 33 inches apart, but with the the 31.7 inch diameter 235's, I don't think...

Here we go again. 265's go on 8" wide rims and still do not have the capacity for 7k axles. Plus tread is to wide to be a good trailer tire.

You can use 265's on narrower rims. I have 7" wide rims on my F350 and use 265's.....in fact...that is the size it came with from the factory.
