Trailer Wiring - Added Side Turn Signals
I installed a set of LED turn signals on each side of the trailer, so that when a car is driving alongside, and I wish to change lanes, they can see the signal.
The output from the truck (2012 Dodge Ram 2500 HD Diesel) provides a turn/stop signal to each of the left and right rear lights on the trailer.
I spliced into the stop/turn wires for each side, but my problem is that when I brake, the lights I added also come on. Is there a way to install a device that will only activate the added turn signals if power is NOT being sent to both lights (left and right) by the brakes?
