Read the plan carefully. On the last page it says they will bill your renewal automatically. So we did agree to it, but i'm not sure I agree with it either. On the other hand, if I were traveling and missed the renewal notice I expect I would be grateful for the automatic renewal. Here is the statement from the plan description.

"Membership is continuous and will be automatically renewed to your credit card or invoiced to your address at the then current rate in effect."

I dont like it when people "Help themselves" to my account like that. I decide when to pay! The amount for your Coach net plan sounds good. There is nothing else you pay for car or rv? I remember someone complaining about thier insurance was twice the expense because of two vehicles.

I had the GS Platinum plan plus the free Coach-Net plan. I was debating which one to keep. GS edged me to Coach-Net when they billed me a month early for the renewal. I don't like the way they bill for everything early. So I cancelled GS and picked up the CN Premier plan which covers the motorhome and car plus has a built in emergency medical plan. Even though GS billed me early they would not refund all of the cost. Plus I still have not got my money back yet. When I say billed they actually charged my account.

WOW! That makes everything perfect. I like the idea of living in a motor home, but the insurance was intimidating.

Per the phone conversation I had with Coach-Net the other day, it's $129 per year for you, your wife, and kids under 24, a drivable RV, and all your other vehicles and trailers. For some reason horse trailers count as a second RV.

The $159 on their we site is if you have more than one camper or RV or an RV and horse trailer.

Their top Motorized RV (including everything you own) package is $159 so I have no idea where you got $1,000 from.

Coverage includes Member, spouse and dependent children ages 24 and under, for your RV and all other personal vehicles owned, rented, borrowed or leased.

One of my options for a full timeing rv is a motor home. I would have to have a car or truck for a toad. Would that cover that too all in one payment? And is it per month or per year?

Coachnet doesn't have a Platinum plus plan. They have limited, basic and the premiere you mentioned.

The Platinum Plus plan was before the plan they have now. I have the Platinum Plus plan an was able to renew my plan under it without having to change to the new plan offered now. Also receive a discount through Escapees.

After I voiced a complaint on this forum about the Good Sam insurance company (Nat Gen) wanting to increase my RV premium by $200 because I was going to store it 10 miles away in a secure,covered, lighted storage area instead of at home, I got almost immediate action. One of their reps read my story, pm'ed me for more details and within two hours I had a call from a company rep who had researched the situation and determined that their agent was wrong in telling me there was an additional $200 policy premium increase. In fact, RVs stored within 100 miles of the owners residence add no increase to the premium. Cars are a different story but the point is that my situation was quickly corrected because I aired it on the GS Forums. I would call that company and ask to speak to a supervisor to question that $1000 dollar figure.

I pick up the new RV tomorrow so I just signed up with Coach Net today for the first time. I found out that the $159 price is if you have two RVs and want them both covered (example - RV and camper). If you have 1 RV and no tow-able camper it's the $129 +$10 first time sign up for everything you drive and tow - cars/utility trailers, etc. Includes my wife and every child under 24 in the house.
