Wondering if you have ratings on the people you send for Roadside Assistance, and if you don't, you should !the person you sent to us damaged more than he fixed... maybe to the point of driving me out of my motorhome.I should have know when he asked if I had any tools !and when he asked to borrow my voltmeter, I'm like oh no !!!!!!!!!!!!Then when I call you when he left to send someone that can get me on the road home, you call me a liar and say your 'professional' said I told him to leave and you won't pay for anyone else to come out?I've still not decided how far I want to go in pursuing this as the rv is now at a repair facility to see how much damage he caused.For a long time Good Sam was good, and I've had the ESP, roadside, and even rv insurance through you, has that changed ?

The Op,s idea is a good one. A rating of providers after the service is performed MIGHT find problems while still minor.

Just heard from the service guy...
yep,
pump bad so thus far he cost me
$250 for his failure at fixing it.
$450 for the guy that got us back together so we could come home
$800 for a new pump
etc... etc...

let's see how Good Sam handles this...

In my rookie brain (and what the next tech told me)
Primarily, he added fluid to Hyd system with slides out and jacks down....
(have since been told that's bad because)
overfilling the system and when time to close up it over pressurized the closed system forcing fluid into the electrical pump shorting it out and burning it up.

Guess I just put it in the wrong sub forum or somebody moved it --- sorry to confuse us because I was concerned when I came back today and couldn't find it in the RA forum either :)

But they have routed my concerns to the proper people andseem to be following up so far...

will post what the svc dept that is looking at it tells me...
