DO NOT count on your AAA. There service varies so much from place to place. One area maybe yours can be great, Next area not so good.

I carried both GSRA and AAA until a year ago.

When we were in San Diego last summer at a very popular RV park my tow vehicle broke down. It was driveable, but Ford advised us NOT to tow our 30' trailer. They couldn't repair the Expedition before we were to check out of the RV park so we needed to figure out a way to get the trailer out. My first call was to GSRA, asking if they would tow our trailer to a storage area WITHIN the RV park. They said that doing so would constitute a "courtesy tow" and said no dice. Remember, my Expedition couldn't do it's job of towing the trailer and GSRA didn't know that the car was still driveable. So I called AAA. I have the RV rider, which got me a wrecker that actually towed the trailer back home -- about 120 miles -- for $75 (over 100 mi. limit). I cancelled my GSRA the next week.

I think looking at both policies would be a prudent thing to do. Since I'm not traveling full time and out of state much now, I'm sticking with AAA. When I hit the road after I retire I'll probably look at CoachNet.

As others have said, "murphy's law" could be a painful experience!!! Murphy's Law also says "all vehicles & RV's will break down, it is just matter of when".:)

Example--- on 2 different occasions I had to have my TT wenched up on to a flat bed trailer and towed to a repair shop, the cost per tow was around $1200 if I had to pay out of pocket

Why does an RVer need several different road services? We only have one and might be missing something.

X-4 I have to agree, none of these plans are 100% perfect. I carry GSRA assistance and my brother does also. I never needed to use mine and my brother has used it at least three times.

I suspect you will find that AAA has some limitations in comparison i.e. is service uniform from state to state, county to county?, length of miles you can be towed before you have to start paying mile by mile? etc etc.
