- Do you have one of the small receptacle testers? Little yellow plug in device. This will help telling whether it is getting power or whether one of the legs is open.
Use a volt meter and check to insure you have power out of the inverter(s)
Remove the gfci recptacles from the wall, test with voltmeter to verify that you have 120 volts AC on the load terminals. GFCI receptacles protect down stream devices with this function. - captron33ExplorerOk ,i did a inverter reset, all power off for 20. Minutes and no help. Maybe a broken or disconnected wire. Any other ideas.
- captron33ExplorerIwill try the inverter reset next.
- MrWizardModeratorI knew one person with a travel supreme, lovely coach, all electric
It had 2 inverters running in tandom aka synced together
Do you have this option ?
Make sure both are turned on and operating correctly
Might try turning it/them off for ten minutes to do a reset - howdy35Explorer III have two gfci breakers that will shut down power if tripped. Check to see if you have them and if they are tripped, reset them. That is a possibility. Please post the answer when you find it.Happy travels.
- wa8yxmExplorer IIII will go with the inverter option If you have an inverter it may be off. Fuse blown (DC) or circuit breaker (AC) tripped.
As others have said usually the ignition interlock (It's a relay in the outlet box the TV is plugged into) only applies to the FRONT TV where the driver can contort to see it.
Now I'm fond of saying many RVers have a few screws loose.... I had some A/C issues when my rig was new.. One of the screws in the power distribution center (Breaker box) took over 3 FULL TURNS before it was tight.> A/C worked much better after that. - captron33ExplorerI took the box that disconnected the tv when the key was on the first day i had it.
- captron33ExplorerWe are set up at rv park. Cb’s are in on the inverter. All other circuit breakers are in.
- Power disconnect for TVs are normally only for the ones that the driver can see.
- MountainAir05Explorer IIYes our 99 did. If the switch is on no power, It goes down to a relay located in the dash.
