Quick final follow up. The pump did come off the reservoir. It took a little rocking back and forth to work it loose from the plug type gasket that it fits into. I found a new one (Most auto Parts stores will have the same type) but the newer one had pin connectors. So I had to go to a Ford dealer to get the newer connector which came with the splice kit (This was the biggest hassle regarding the whole episode). Anyhow, it was fairly simple to cut, splice, and crimp the new connector on and then wiggle and work the pump back into the rubber plug type gasket (a little spit helped). Works like a charm now. I figured I would post this so it might help anyone else out there with the same problem (Especially the same type RV)

Any tank and 12 volt pump should work fine. I bought a no name one at an auto parts store to replace my tank that split. It came with the mounting bracket and even had hose to attach to the stock stuff. You'd never know it was aftermarket.

Try this as a replacement. I'm sure it would be less expensive than something from Ford and it comes with a new tank and pump. Just remove the old assembly and bolt this one on. Hook up the hoses and electric and you are good to go. Washer pump

Well alrighty then. Nothings ever easy is it? The pump looks like it's permanently attached to the reservoir (on the backside). Trying to fins a replacement has been a nightmare. I may have to run down to the Ford dealer since I can't find it online. I tried JC Whitney and used all sorts of search phrases too.

Most are built into the tank. Slide the tank up and you should be able to see it on the bottom.

If you believe that it is behind the tank then you should be able to see a couple of wires going to the tank also. Most washer pumps that I have seen were close or inside the tanks. JMO
