- TROPYEKExplorerThese are electric legs I replaced leg, easy to replace plugged everything back in rear leg would not go up unplugged and switched to other leg in back something happened followed all instruction to reboot nothing works jut saw switch on diagram maybe this is our problem. It cannot slip off unless the bottom "TIT" on the bottom of the piston has sheared off. When you have a HWH jack pad that has slipped, it will shear this "TIT" off. If so, you need to replace the complete cylinder. Without that "TIT" thru the center of the foot it will slide off again. IF BOLTED it cannot slip. If you are talking about slipping off a WOOD shim block, then forget this post. If HWH no pressure involved when retracted. It takes upper body strength to release the 2 springs on HWH from the mount holes. 2008 may have the pads bolted or not as HWH changed the design around that time. If also bolted, once the springs are removed you just unbolt the nut in the bottom center of the pad. Atwood, I have never seen a bent pad, so I do not know if they are replaceable. Doug
