- backhoemikeExplorerTake a bar and put under and pry up use your block to pry up , my springs are weak on one of mine and it wont retract picks up about an inch.
- backhoemikeExploreralso what type of leveling system does your coach have?
- backhoemikeExplorerMy first MH , i recently got from my father passing away he bought it a couple weeks before he passed, We pull it home ground is wet , i put boards under the feet went to level it but i didnt scotch the tires on both sides, so when the air dumped the breaks released and the leveling leg buried in the ground when i tried to retract them nothing, i had to dig a hole to get under them you will need a stout bar, as your system not coming on i would check the fuse on it, or goggle the instruction manual like i did with mine but with the motor off so you dont have to listen to that buzzer i pried mine up and have too on the Right rear every time....How to level it and make everything work was my first fiasco and hard lesson to learn.
- cochise49ExplorerHad HWH levelers for 10 years then got a new rig with LCI. Never a peep of trouble from the HWH but the LCIs failed first trip out. Pump has been replaced so we'll see.....off subject though. In the leveler manual there is a procedure for manually retracting the jacks. HWH requires a ratchet on a shaft that may be difficult to turn due to being too close to a wheel. LCI has two methods...one enables you to use an electric drill and socket. I never wiped down the jacks on the HWHs and one stuck on me at the ten year mark. Thought it was a weak spring but I wiped the extended shaft off with a rag and it worked fine.
- OhhWellExplorerIf your control panel is going nuts, contact the manufacturer of your system. If it is Power Gear, they have an amazing and fast response. Don't go forcing them to retract until you hear back unless it is an emergency and you need to get rolling.
- viajanteExplorerIf it is a Power Gear system, it could be a blown inline fuse. Mine had too small of a fuse and it blew. There was a small inline fuse box in the driver's side wheel well.I just put in a 10 amp fuse to replace the 5 amp one. This was on advice of Winnebago.
- VinCeeExplorerColcord, your jacks are made by Lippert. There is a way to re-set the control panel. Go to ForestRiverForums.Com, click on the Georgetown link and search the question on leveling jacks. You will get links to service manuals, phone numbers and I'm guessing links to forum posts that will solve your problem. Good Luck, let us know how you make out.
- AikenRacerExplorerMy rig has a breaker in the front compartment in front of the driver. This is not referenced in any brochure or manual. Nothing will work with this breaker tripped.
- teddyuExplorerThe OP hasn't returned. Maybe he started the coach and then the jacks would come up and hasn't had the time to respond. JM2ยข...
- campingman55Explorerif it is a deisle start it up and then put your foot on the brake and relase the parking brake and put in drive and thenset the parking brake and take out of gear should work
