Chasis Electrical issue - Wipers / Camera / Jacks won't work

While I had it out had a issue with some of the chassis electrical not working - wipers, rear view camera, windshield blower and leveling jacks. But then I turned off/on engine and all worked.

You have no 12v - everything you mentioned in your first post requires 12v power to be on.

Open the door, find the light control panel, and turn the 12v switch back on (also known as the salesman's switch). While lots of things can go wrong, 9 times out of 10 it is something simple like this switch. You may have to look at the whole circuit since many motorhomes may also use a relay system in these 12v control systems.

I had a similar problem and found that one of the ignition solonoids had failed. It sound s like you may have the same problem since you turned the engine off and on and and it worked but then didn't. When the ignition key is on one solonoid powers the chassis items (wipers radio, heater, etv) and disconnects power for the coach (slides, awnings, etc). My first problem was that the connections were loose. When I tightened them all was good but a short time later I lost power for good due to the loose wiring shorting out the solenoid which finally failed with full power. You might try checking them. They are normally very close to the 12v chassis and coach power blocks. Mine were in the basement compartment under the driver's seat. It's not an expensive part but not normally in stock. You probably have a 'control' fuse problem
Not the big power fuses
The control circuit is off, so the relays do not come on
The big power fuses feed the relays for the different functions

I think it is related to corrosion on one of the chassis fuses.

If you think about it I had power to everything EXCEPT for items that are ON when the ignition switch is on.

I multi-meter tested a lot of diffent items. Found that I had power in all body fuses except those that are on with ignition. Then started testing the chassis fuses. With ignition off everything checked as expected. I then turned ignition on and was testing the 10A fuses

IGN PWR 1 was dead but as soon as I put my probe and pressed on IGN PWR 2 (B/B) everything came to life. I think it was corrosion in the fuse connections or something. Anyway - the fuse was fine but I still replaced it (inserted/removed a few times) everything seems okay at this time.

Not totally convinced it was this one fuse, but will keep an eye on it.

Prior MH was on Freightliner XCS chassis. Intermittently Lost the same items you mention but also the electric steps did not retract with the door...
In the compartment below the driver (see fcooper's post) I found a wire labelled "Chassis interface" that had a burned crimp connector that was obviously a bad connection.. Replaced connector with solder and heat shrink.

Hope yours is as easy to fix...

There are 2 fuse boxes in that compartment, fuse for that circuit was marked #24 - IGN 1 10amp.

Just need to check your connections - usually the ground loses contact.

Grab your Multi-Meter and start searching.

Do you have chassis / coach disconnect relays? Usually about the door?
Rats?

Volt meter? Measure the power at the ignition switch? Battery Control Center (BCC). Where are your owners manuals?

Measure the coach / chassis batteries?

Do you have a inverter / charger ? Does it charge all of the batteries?
Owner manuals?
Call the manufacture of the coach ?

What have you checked? Meaning volt meter, measuring.

My freightliner chassis is older than yours, but I have 2 fuse/relay boxes in the electrical run bay (directly under the driver) that were provided by freightliner and located by the body builder. I also have a third relay/fuse box in that same bay installed by the body builder, and that is where my fuses for rear camera and jacks are located. The body builder installed the rear camera and jacks.

I'd bet there is another 12 volt fuse/relay box somewhere on that coach. Maybe someone with your model will post soon.

no smart wheel. Also chasis A/C is dead. The biggest issue is the leveling jacks. I'm stuck until I get power back to them. Slide outs work.

Feels like a breaker issue. I tripped and re-set all the hi-amp breakers in the back rear compartment. Looked at all 12v fuses in the two chasis fuse blocks. All good there. Not sure what to do next
