Dashboard AC compressor shorted out
Is I am unsure where to post this request for assistance, I'll post it here and I'm sure it'll be moved to the appropriate forum.
This is our first motor home, we have a Fleetwood Bounder 39Z, with an ISP 5.9 275 hp DP. I am trying to decide the appropriate repair facility to take the RV to to have the – air-conditioning repaired.
We are new to RVing and have quickly learned there appears to be a division between coach repair, chassis repair, and engine repair. I have already learned that a coach facility is not the correct place. Therefore, do I take it to a Freightliner oasis facility, or to a Cumming repair facility to have the engine driven compressor worked on.
In a perfect world the same facility would be able to do my annual mechanical inspections and replacements. I would also like the Allison transmission which is in four-speed T handle transmission looked at as it does not downshift on its own climbing through the mountains.
