Do i need new tires

I bought my MH in 2011 it has 2007 tires on it;; They were all cracked back then (Michelins) replaced fronts last fall and replacing rears this fall. the cracks from 7 years ago stayed the same as when I bought it;(never got any worse) going to Hercules @ 367$ verses 810$ for michelin
I only drive 4 K per year

how much do you care for your family?
if you care for them and your self i would take it to a reputable tire shop and get a professional opinion .

You should replace them.
First reason age
Second reason cracks
Much better to get them at a dealer you are happy with and not have to spend time on the road trying to find a place.
I run Double Coin tires from my local dealer.

Hostage, I find Michelin to be a very quality tire. Our first motorhome had Michelin's that I drove for 7.5 yrs and 57,000 miles. The replacement set of Michelin's I drove for 12,000 miles over 1.5 yrs. before selling. No cracks on either set.

The new coach has Michelin tires and at 39,000 miles and 32 months, no cracks.

I will replace with Michelin's when the time comes.

you replaced them in 11- what does the date code say on the sidewall? 6 years old is close to the replace date. Peace of mind is a great thing, with new tires you are riding on especially during the summer temps

Thanks Bud, I appreciate your help. I'm not familiar with "double coin" tires, where r they mfg? You run them on your pace arrow?

They were mfg in March of '11. It's barely six years, but, I'm leaning towards replacing, I don't like surprises on the the road. What brand do you run?

You're taking a 1500 mile trip on six year old (at least) tires that are cracked.
I would replace the tires. It could make the trip less stressful.

I also do not care for Michelin's. I like Hankook. But, I've heard good things about Sumitomo.
