After this very dirty conversation..... I decided to get the Sewer Solution which has the 3/4" hose and uses a water just to push things along. Since it is designed for non-macerated feed it would be a good belt and suspenders approach.
Let gravity do its thing and if there is a clog, turn on the jet!
If you haven't guessed, I am trying to get away from using the 3" hose and since the MH comes with macerator toilets I'm, more than half way there!
This is the best solution. But I would not leave your black tank valve open. Eventually, waste material and especially toilet paper will build up on the bottom of your dry black tank. Just keep the gray tank valve open and keep the black closed until you dump your tanks. Run the Sewer Solution high pressure water when you dump your tanks. - dieselbobcatExplorerStutch-
I had a sewer solution prior to the flojet... works great but uses a lot of water to power it. If you want to try it without the outlay for a new one, I have one sitting on the shelf in my shop that I would be willing to part with. I have the sewer solution with 25' of hose and the additional 25' hose extension from them. It has been sanitized and is just gathering dust. PM me and we can work out a fair price and get it shipped up to you. - NMaceExplorerI thought a standard garden hose was 5/8", and contractor hose (about 3 times the cost) 3/4" and usually only offered in 75 and 100 foot lengths.
Are you guys finding 3/4" hose in 25 and 50 foot lengths at reasonable prices? Where? The last one I bought was nearly $100.00, and its 75 foot length is not handy. - AllegroDNomadI do not think turning on the "jet" after the 25' hose is stopped up is the right sequence of events. Nor will it be a pleasant ending.

the Sewer Solution should work perfectly for your use as it will break up "stuff" and your "stuff" is already broken up. I bought a second hose for mine and had no trouble being too stiff or unmanageable. some folks will complain that the SS uses too much water, but then they back flush their black tank three times instead? :)
bumpy - Mike_and_TrishExplorerI have a 2-macerating-toilet setup like you describe, but wouldn't try to do a gravity dump through a 3/4 inch hose. While the toilets "liquefy" everything quite well (no poop pyramid, for sure), as that stuff sits in the black tank, the solids still settle, so that the first part of your drainage is going to be a pretty thick soup. I use the good old stinky slinky, and it dumps quickly and thoroughly. Then I do the gray tank dump, then run my tank flushing system (if I'm packing up to leave), with a clear adapter so I can see the progress. It certainly drains, and cleans, more quickly and thoroughly than my previous non-macerating units.
- DSDP_DonExplorer"Stutch"...The reason you have macerating toilets is that neither of your toilets are located atop the black tank as in most RV's. Consequently, a macerator toilet is needed to grind the waste, add water and move it along a sewer pipe to the black tank. Yes, the end result is just brown water.
I think the Sewer Solution size hose will be plenty, but I believe they're pretty stiff. I would buy one of the hoses that is sold with the SaniCon system. It's a VERY flexible hose that extends to 20' and doesn't need to be flushed, if you leave the cap on the end of the hose.
SaniCon - dieselbobcatExplorerBeen using a Flojet Macerator pump for three seasons with no problems. Done even have a 3" hose on board any more. I use 2 25' 3/4" black rubber hoses (as needed), a clear elbow, and a grey water adaptor.
Dump grey with the hose and adaptor. When dumping black, install the flojet, connect to hose and let it rip. Pumps my 38 gal tank in under 3 minutes. Will pump 6' of head when needed. I made up a PVC adaptor from hose thread to 3" PVC and then use a rubber donut to seal the sewer hookup. Nice and neat.
When done, coil hose and connect end to end... no drips/no odor.

There is also a similar unit that can be installed permanently. - StutchExplorerAfter this very dirty conversation..... Why not use a clear fitting + standard sewer hose so u can see the output? Make a decision later.
And make sure the clear fitting is part of a flush system! Probably not necessary but, precaution beats a clog or build up!
