When we built our house with a basement, a hold tank with a pump was installed to pump sewage to the house septic tank. I would like to do that for an RV pad, drain my black water tank in a holding tank and pump it to my septic tank ... any ideas would be helpful.

Start with your local building department and zoning board. Make sure they approve it first!

Why not just pump it directly from your existing RV holding tank to the septic tank? A macerator pump would likely handle the job within a reasonable distance and rise. You could even bury a hard line rather than running a hose.

I built something like THIS about 10 years ago. I have pumped 6' uphill for 100' thru a 3/4" hose.

Are you pumping the whole thing, or just the effluent? I would not grind the solids and then put it all into a septic tank. I would first attempt to utilize what is existing. If not, a new septic tank and separate effluent pump would work.

wow. I even re-route the washer discharge to the lawn, so it does NOT go into the septic.

And when I had the jaccuzzi's and it came time to break down and maintenance clean, it went out on the lawn also. I wouldn't ever dump it into a septic field.

I guess it depends how long you have had septic's and what region you live in, to realize that you DO need to take care of them so you don't end up with big septic repair bills down the line. Live in a clay based region and it's 'all about' how to keep that drain field happy!

why do you dump your hot tub into your septic system? your lawn needs watering. I thought my softub that was about that size held 220 gallons???

A 72"x36" whirlpool/jacuzzi tub holds 110 gallons at over flow. The average RV holds 80 to 100 gallons between the 2 holding tanks. If I can't dump my RV in to my septic system I can't dump my tub either. So far I have not had a problem dumping either and I do not expect one.

If the RV is within 100 Feet of a spot where you can pump into the ground (Septic system) you can use a Flo-Jet or Saniconb Macerator pump these are 12 volt powered and work well (I should know, I use a Flo-Jet from time to time)

If its like a mile and you have to cart the stuff,,, Barker Blue Boy totes are the answer.

I use my macerator and pump directly into a toilet.

If you have a TT it WOULD be simple.

When you are driving a MH towing a Toad, NO.
You can't back up with a Toad.

Which means we have to pull out circle the CG to find the 'right direction' road to go down to get you back up to the road where you pulled in originally. THEN, pull in and leave 3/4 of your rig out on the road while you take the time to dump etc. Not to mention maneuvering the roads in the CG the 'first' time when you pulled in was challenging at best.

When I pull off the road for just for a day or two a I want a PULL THRU. I.E. I pull in and 'pull-thru' when I leave. I do NOT want to unhook. Bad sewer location on the part of the owners sucks up the stay.

Driving around the CG at 6:00 a.m. like a chinese fire drill to 'go back' to a site to line up with the sewer is not want I want to do.

P.S There are a lot of "different types" of RV's on the road. All with their different challenges. :W

when you're in a parking place in a cg you don't need to reach the sewer anyway. YOU (I) leave my blackwater tank closed until it's time to leave or it's full,, whichever comes first,, then, if you're all ready to pull out,.back up or pull up to within reach of your septic hose and dump away!

then you leave the park.... very simple.. don't ya think so?

That could so be used at CG's. I couldn't believe the last trip down south how many CG's I stopped in that in the pull thru's, once you are all the way in the site you can NOT reach the sewer.

That little bugger would be great for incidences like that!
