Ford V10 engine
Looking to purchase around a 36 ft class a motorhome to go full timing and wondering how the ford V10 is holding up. Will be towing a vehicle with it also. Please give good and bad points.

Newer Ford V-10's are as powerful as the discontinued Chevy 8.1. They are now coupled with a 5 speed tranny with tow/haul mode which works similarly to the Chevy grade brake.
As noted, it revs high and is slightly noisier than the old 8.1, but you would have to buy used (2009 or earlier) to get the Workhorse Chassis.
Most engines, if properly maintained will last quite a while.
