French Quarter RV Resort.

I am posting this in this forum because it is the straightest way to a fastest answer.

French Quarter RV Resort's (NOLA)Web site is asking for the year of my Monaco Diplomat before submitting Request. Tell me, has anyone stayed there and is this one of the RV parks that 'age discriminates' against older RV's?

My Jeanette (The Diplomat's name)is in beautiful condition, Fully refurbished in and out. But, she is still basically 15 years old.

Thanks in advance.

We stayed there in 2008 when our coach was new. It is SO convenient to the French Quarter. They will give you a golf cart ride to the edge of the Quarter.

It is known that the park is in a iffy area but we didn't have a problem and enjoyed the area and the park. The pool is nice.

I would think, but not sure, that a very clean older coach shouldn't be a problem. Please let us know if it is.

The park was selling the lots but not sure if that's the case now. The downturn of the economy happened just after we stayed there so maybe the business model has changed. It sure is close to everything. The aftermath of hurricane Katrina was still very evident even after three years (2005).

I hope to stay there. We have friends staying there, and several others coming to town that same weekend-a reunion of sorts.
Ponchartrain Landings is a nice RV place as well in a REALLY iffy part of town. But it is a little longer a ride. They provide shuttle service, but we go out for late evenings, and it is $22 cab ride back!
