help with outlets not working in 2019 pacearrow 36u

Hello,
i have a 2019 fleetwood pacearrow 36u

the two outlets one the main bedroom slideout have quit working.

I have checked each plug and the look ok
I have checked the breakers
i have check all GFI plugs.

We are getting ready to leave for a 1000 mile trip and i am really concerned about an electrical fire.

I realize that this is a pretty specific model question, but maybe someone has some info or ideas that may help me trouble shoot this

Thanks
  • Check the circuit breakers on your INVERTER itself. This would be in a basement compartment. Mine had two circuit breakers and when when one of them tripped, I would always lose some outlets. These are not to be confused with any circuit breakers in your electrical panel. They are right on the front of your inverter.
  • So if i had a bad GFI, would the NOT be working. I have plugged something into both GFI's and they both work
  • Buy a 3 light household plug checker with a button to check GFCI and check all RV plugs. Are the 3 lights on and does the button trip the GFCI plug?

You could have a loose wire or bad GFCI.

FULLY flip all CBs off and then on.
  • Another vote for the GFI. We lost 1/2 our outlets once, everything seemed good. On the advice of an electric guy here (thanks Larry!) we changed the GFI and everything's been good since. That was years ago, so obviously it was the cause.
  • Slideouts are noted for causing electrical issues.....check under the slide if you can see any wiring.
  • double check the gfi that you know about, some times they don,t reset, or could be a bad gfi.got a meter ? also check your breakers .
  • frustrating, i know. i'll bet there's another GFCI outlet that you've either forgotten about or it's not in an obvious place. i had the same thing happen in a previous motorhome and finally found the tripped outlet in a basement storage compartment.
