- charwanExplorerThe first question is. What kind of levelers do you have? However it sounds like springs. If not loosen the line at top of cyl.. and see if it goes up then. If not more than likely its just springs. It still could be something in the cyl. Maybe this helps.
- sch911ExplorerIf they are HWH then just call them directly, they have great customer service and will help you diagnose and fix the ussue.
- IF HWH and has to be pryed up, the ONLY fix is either rebuild the cylinder or replace it. Doug
- Happy_JimExplorerI have a holiday rambler and have the same issue on the same jack. Seems folks who have this issue it is usually the back passanger jack?

Just seems that way. The jack internal seals are all the same material. So, this problem can happen on any of the 4 jacks. Doug- charwanExplorerI have no idea how much or how little the OP may be incline mechanically. However he did know to just push the cyl. up so I would think he can do a little to help himself. First loosen the hose on the top of the cyl and see if the cyl goes up. If not then help it up and see how much effort it takes. If great effort it probably is cyl. If little effort it Probably is the springs. If cyl. goes up with loosen hose it may be in the solenoid. To ck. that just swap the left one and the right one and see if it goes up. If so its the solenoid. From my experience working on them.
- J-RoosterExplorerDoug Rainer, I'm having this issue also! My curbside rear HWH jack will not extend! Should I check to see if it's low on hydraulic Fluid first? My leveler panel on my dashboard also shows a red light on all jacks, then a white light comes on to show me which side of the coach is high or low. I'm not getting a red light signal on my dash to that rear jack (the 3 other jacks a red light comes on).

HWH jacks with NO springs and in retract mode you can easily push them up by hand. IF you suspect weak rusted springs, in retract mode you can easily push them up fully by hand. IF you have to lever them up, the internal SEALS are defective. Replace or rebuild the bad jacks that do this. If the jacks retract at all, the solenoid is NOT the problem. DougJ-Rooster wrote:

You have more than 1 problem.
1. Jack NOT extending? suspect low fluid? check the reservoir. The system has about 6 to 7 qts and only uses a Max of 2 qts when the jacks are fully extended. Besides, do NOT extend the front jacks at all. Extend the rear only. That leaves the fluid to only extend 2 jacks instead of 3 or 4.
2. There is NO white light. Only Red/Green and Yellow lights on the pad. Yellow is level indicator
3. On the touch pad, EACH Jack red light is independent of each other. IF you have all 4 showing RED and they are retracted, then you have a wiring short. It only takes 1 down switch to activate the Dash Board RED master down light.- ldshafExplorerI had the exact problem you are having, the only thing that worked was using a rag with transmission FLUID. wipe shaft of leveler cylinder ,you may have to pry once more but I have had no more problems since.I reapply once every couple months to all cyl. shafts.
