I agree.....I think you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. I had a Monaco for 9 years, never an issue.
Arrive at the campsite, connect hoses and power cord (gives extra power while putting slides out and lowering jacks). Put slides out, dump air and level.
When you get ready to leave, start engine, let air fill which will inflate air bags. Once the pressure starts to reach 100 psi, retract jacks, they will have already lifted off the ground and there will be no sudden drop. Shut down engine, bring in slides and disconnect hoses and power cord. By doing the cord and hoses before slides are out and after they've been brought back in, you don't have to crawl under the slides.
Do final walk around, start coach and drive away.
