- hankoExplorerI agree with the OP. those things are a peice of garbage. my buddy just picked upa new Challenger, I was appaled at the lack of quality control, poor finnish, cheap appointments. Its a 37 ft class a on a 22,000 lb chasis, plus about two ft shorter on the wheel base than it should be.

This is a Class A issue. Granted, the same quality defects may be similar in a 5th wheel though.
Your point??? I had a Palazzo and I'm shocked at how much better the construction, quality control, etc is on my new Toy Hauler that was 65k, rather than my palazzo that cost me 188k otd. - Mr_Mark1ExplorerI've been following 93Mastercraft's posts.
If it were me, I would remove the video. Being involved in litigation on a HOA board, there are some low-life lawyers out there that will turn the video around on you. Even though 93MC may win, the headache and cost of legal work is not fun.
One thing that I have learned is never put anything in writing that will come back and bite you. Emotions have to be left out as laws aren't written with emotion. Be careful.

Thor handed this guy a pile of dung and a lot of you are saying be careful, don't slander them. Really? We should all be defending mastercraft and starting a pool to defend him. At the end of the day, his concerns are our concerns.
Remember, truth is a 100% defense to slander. I agree with keeping the emotions out of it, but darn it, this guy was wronged and probably hundreds of other buyers are being wronged and aren't speaking up for fear of reprisals.
$150,000 is a lot of money for most folks and when you have the expectation of a certain quality and don't get it, you are going to be disappointed. Furthermore, he realizes that he can't simply reverse his decision without losing $50,000 - $60,000. Give the guy a break.
In hindsight, I'm sure Mastercraft would have bought a better quality used DP for the same price or a better quality new gasser had he known what he was getting into, but he's done our community a huge favor by publicizing his experiences.

I hope you are right, but, I would say Thor will want a "legal" ruling on the situation. Also remember, you are hearing only 1 side of the story. It's amazing how things change when "all" the facts are presented in a court of law.
Normally, I'd agree with you that there are two sides to every story, but in this case, I think Thor would agree that they had genuine problems with the full wall slide for the palazzo in 2013 and 2014.
After seeing Mastercraft's problems on this forum a few months ago, I called the regional sales manager for Palazzo and told him I was interested in this model but I had concerns about the slides. He acknowledged the problems and assured me that the new models had been fixed and should not suffer the same problems. He told me that they added rollers under the slide and one other fix. (I can't remember what is was, perhaps beefier motors or tracks)
Furthermore, Mastercraft has presented the photos and documented his issues in a fairly thorough fashion. Others have documented the same problems.
While I do not know all of the facts, the preponderance of evidence would suggest that the full wall slide had inherent defects and many if not most buyers of this coach have had or will have problems with this slide. When I look at the photos of his current slide tracks, I'm thinking it's only a matter of time before those fail as well. I'm sure Mastercraft feels the same way.
It's one thing if your refrigerator stops working. It's an entire other thing if your slides won't stow away. On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being involved in a major wreck and 1 being your tires are 10 pounds low on air, I'd say this issue is an 8 -- the kind of problem that you think might never get fixed and will definitely affect your experience and resale value. - buta4Explorer

People are criticizing an amateur video blowing off steam??? Really? Hell I might be hanging from the ceiling if I wasted my money on that POS. This is a public service announcement and I appreciate the honesty of the OP. Hang in there Bro.
