Need suspension modification advice for new class A

I've been told adding a bigger rear stabilizer bar will improve the handling of my class A (2013 Newmar Bay Star 33' gas, Ford F53 chassis). My main issue is how much it leans going in or out of sloped driveways, or around curves and corners on the road.

Since the cost of these additional rear stabilizer bars is significant I'd like to hear from others who have done this on their motorhome.

Thanks, Ken
  • Yup, to better control sway, use a larger diameter sway bar along with stiffer (polyurethane bushings).
  • Mine is 1-1/2" and still get the same results you do. I am looking at putting a trac bar in. Seems most people that have done that are happy with the results. Last year I put air bags on the rear and that was a big improvement but I'm still looking for more stability. :-)
