I wont listen to that at all. I'm in no hurry to by a different coach at all. There's many out there and I'm just getting started at really looking, I'm liking a 02 Mountain Aire 4064 dual slide with 35,000 miles, just haven't been able to get there yet. It is Newmar for me, I like them alot and their cabinets/woodworking is nice, even the door skins were real wood veneer.
We love ours, we bought a 2000 in 2009, it had been in storage almost from day one, so we went thru the wake up period because it only had 8600 miles on it. working thru that period we learned a lot about the coach and the way it is made. we upgraded the TVs and the satellite setup. and lots of small stuff such as the water heater anode, water filter, tow bar stuff, new tires, gen-set filter and oil changes, wash and wax twice a year.
The clear coat finish for that period seems to be a problem, it likes to peel, I pressure washed all the loose off, and re shot it, buffed it, problem solved, aluminum wheels, unless they are polished both sides you can't rotate the way you should, so we don't.
Fuel feed hoses and the +- leads to the Onan have a habit of getting pinched when you slide the gen-set in and out. I put a big rubber band made from an inner-tube to pull them out of the way.
Interior cabinets are super, we never have a drawer stick or a door malfunction, 6 way power driver and passenger seats by flex steel, never have a problem.
I've made a lot of mistakes learning the hard way but the coach keeps going.
