It doesn't dump the material out the exhaust pipe - it incinerates the waste in the exhaust system.
There is an EPA certification for the system / process for marine use on the web site. I can't say if the marine EPA requirements are more strict or less strict than normal waste treatment standards. But it is obvious they are working with the EPA.

While the concept might not be new - I'm hopeful some new technology has been applied to make the system more efficient, more cost effective.
However, I wonder if this is suitable for many RVs - it would seen to require a high number of hours of an engine running. (I see a greater market in the marine recreation area.)
Kudos to the group for working and thinking outside the box. We do need people to develop and try different things. If we accept the status quo, we will never see improvement.
(Yes, I have no clue how to improve the waste situation - which is why I want to see other peoples ideas.)
