If I'm level and want to dump rain off the slide covers, I can manually lift the front of up using my front levelers, but what I don't know is how to manually lower the front back down? All I have is a retract "all" jacks button. How do I only retract the front jacks that I previously raised?
Quick answer is - You can't do what you want. Read the posts here and you'll find some techniques on how to dump the water and re-level your MH.
As others have suggested and what I do is - Hit the retract button and then stop it after a second or two. The water will come off of your slide toppers. Then, re-level your coach per the manufactures recommendation. Hitting the off button during the retraction of the leveling jacks keeps them from re-tracking all the way and allows you to re-level your coach a little bit quicker.
-paul - KJINTFExplorerI second what OnaQuest mentioned
Sometimes you can get by with touching and quickly releasing the retract all button
Been doing it that way for several years - so far so good
Kind of a pain in the back side but works
Always use manual mode since the auto mode programming easily gets confused - BigSkyBobExplorerWhen I want to do this I retract the jacks first. Then lower the front jack to raise the front of the coach. I do this as I don't want to place any undue stress on the rear jack brackets. If the rear jacks are down and you raise the front of the coach it causes some amount of front to back twist on the rear jacks. They are not resigned to twist front to back. There might be a better/faster method but I'm afraid of bending a jack bracket.

Does your Power Gear controls not have, front /back/ left /right buttons
if so just press retract or extend and the side you wish to adjust .you do not have to press retract all to do this
Yes, I have front/rear/left/right buttons. I'm talking about my levelers not my slides. - OnaQuestExplorer

That's not the way Power Gear levelers work. - OnaQuestExplorerMy method is to go ahead and hit the "Retract all" button, and then quickly hit the "System OFF" button. This will stop the retraction process and allow my re-leveling process to proceed from that point when the system is turned back ON. (Sometimes takes a couple of tries to stop in the right place)
If you find a better way, please let us know. - A1B00902ExplorerDoes your Power Gear controls not have, front /back/ left /right buttons
