Hi:My wife and just bought a Pleasure Way Lexor TS. We have owned a Four Winds C and and Lexington B+ and had adequate storage for safely storing the sewer hose. With the Pleasure Way, storage is a bit more limited. There is a sewer storage tube but it does not let you put in the hose with a connector on both ends. The connector must be removed from one the end that goes into the sewer storage tube. I am interested in how this is handled in small RVs like the Pleasure Way. It is 20.5 ft and has very little storage. Please let me know if there are any easy and fairly clean way to manage the storage and make ready for connection.Thanks for any help.Bob

Can you give me a catalog reference or a link for the quick releases? I just bought a rhino kit but haven't taken it out of the box. The rhino kit has fixed ends. Thanks for the reply.

We never hooked up our PW Excel to a sewer so the storage was a non-issue, we never needed the fittings. We usually always drove the van during the day so we never hooked up to a sewer or city water, the pump worked fine for all purposes. These are some of the advantages of a small RV, keep it simple. I just push the sewer hose into a rubber donut on the far end and take it off when I leave placing it in a ziplock bag however you are still limited to a 10 foot hose.Nick

I have a 2005 PW Excel and had the same problem which I solved by fabricating a holder consisting of abs pipe that is long enough to hold the hose and accepts even the end pieces. This was fastened to the underside of the rv adjacent to the spare tire and hose clamped to the frame. I have a Ford and you have a Chevy so things may be a bit different.

Yes the Chevy is different but I will consider how I might attach an abs pipe to the back bumper.

Thanks to all who made suggestions. I've decided to try a mesh sling hung from the same apparatus as the spare tire. This puts it at the back door and under the wheel. The mesh sling came from a Ford 150 I had some years ago that served as the gate off of the truck bed. I'm putting the Rhino 15ft, ready to go hose, in the mesh. The hose caps and piece that would go into the dump in a small plastic see thru box and store with other utilities in a small side compartment.

For our PW Excel we designated the drivers side rear compartment for storage for the pump out hose. I purchased a sewer hose that has end caps. After using the hose we rinse it out thoroughly and spray it with bleach befofre capping it. We also spray all the connections with bleach before hooking up our fresh water supply. You never know how someone before you handled their sewer lines and then contaminated the fresh water hook ups...bleach helps keep things safe.

I would never use the hose at the dump station for anything but rinsing out my sewer hose.

Spraying the hose with bleach is only going to get bleach into your fresh water tank, which is not something you want to be drinking.

If you are especially concerned about bacteria on the hose connection at your campsite, you could spray that spigot and then rinse it off thoroughly, and then connect your fill hose.

As far as hoses go, how about this:
