Still can not get any channels on my TV????

There is a signal amp built into the Sensar Pro. Push the gain button, increase the gain three digits then rescan..

There something I am missing. I would have got those two channels if I would have use a coat hanger for a antenna when I was at Walmart. I know the signals strong up on that hill at Walmart. Do you think the two batteries in the back of the TV could be bad? I have not change them. The green light is on. I am total beside myself.

I took the MH up to Walmart which is on a steep hill. I got two channels. Now my old 95 MH I had a new TV with a booster and up at Walmart I got 17 channels. Now when I drove the MH back home no TV channels. Poor location for the TV Antenna to pick up. But my 95 MH I did get 5 or 6 Channels here at the house. I think I need a good booster to help. The Winegard Sensor Pro did not make any difference at all in receiving channels. The two channels I got at Walmart was very good.

Of course that helps, google what you gave us and you will see that it has been discontinued, that's not a bad thing, it's 720p set with two HDMI inputs and one F type connector for antenna in.

It will not play BluRay discs but it will play DVD discs. There is every thing else you need to know already given to you by other members of the forums.

First I would take the set in the house and try it or bring a DVD player to it and try that. That will tell you if the set is working or not. From there on your on your own but with the info given you, you'll solve any problems you think you have.

You can get a typical hook up diagram or two or three thousand, just google it.

The TV is Insignia. 32 inch. NS-32D312NA15 A wall mount. Does this help?

I looked at the sales brochure for your year Winnie and it had a CRT set, so I am assuming your set was replaced, if the set fits exactly in the cabinet above the dash, it has not been replaced. It came with, a B.O.M.B., if it had the "TV Enhancement Package" it was pre-wired for satellite, it had a VHS/DVD player and a Digital TV. There a quite a few things we don't really know about your Video setup and I guess you don't really know them either. If you don't have the sale brochure and/or the Owners Manual, you can download them as PDFs from winnebagoind.com. You can also download the electrical schematics and a very complete parts listing.

Regardless of whether or not it is a CRT or Flat Panel(not flat screen) there are three very easy tests, that you can do and get enough information to set things up properly. Check the antenna power first.

To test for proper antenna power, "Turn on the power to the Sensor Pro, disconnect the coax at the antenna and using a DMM or VOM, check for +/- 13 volts DC between the center wire(positive) and the "F" connector shell(negative). That is an absolute, no VDC, no signal. The lack of DC voltage indicates you have a bad component somewhere between the Sensor Pro and the antenna.

Another test is to take an unknown(your TV in the MoHo) and substitute it for a known(a set in your home), if it works like your home TV set, You know the set is digital and working. If it doesn't work, try bringing the converter box inside and hooking that up with the RV set. If that doesn't work, go get a new set.

Another test is to take a DVD player with an "F" connector to the MoHo and hook it up and try and play a DVD. If all you have is a Blu-Ray player that will require HDMI connections. If your set has HDMI connections, it's digital.

I'm not sure about your Sightseer but my Adventurer has a B.O.M.B. and sometimes I forget to set that up correctly. You did not mention a B.O.M.B. so maybe that year didn't need one. You didn't mention the set having an INPUT selector, having one is a sure sign that your set has a digital turner. If it doesn't have an INPUT selector, the tuner is going to be ANALOG turner.

My RV has three TV locations, the front TV is hooked up to the power supply for the antenna, the outside and bedroom TVs are connected to the second set output from the Sensor Pro and in my case they use a splitter.

I had so many problems when I bought the RV that I went through and changed all the "Crimp" type "F" connectors to "Compression" type fittings and that corrected all my antenna problems. I also removed all of the coax cables except the one that ran to the antenna, the one that rant to the outside and bedroom sets and the cable connection from the outside cabinet to the inside front TV location. The Original owners had at least five short cables running whatever including the satellite box. We don't have satellite but we do have a fitting for running the cable through the roof.

Didn't those original "converters" pull in the new digital stations, you know 8.1 / 13.3 / 29.4 ???

And then the television was set on channel 2 or 3 only. Then when changing channels, you used the remote to the converter box. The television always stayed on channel 2 or 3. Sound was controlled by the television remote. Stations were controlled by the converter remote.

If this is your current set up, you can scan the television all you want, and you'll never get the digital stations on the television. Your best bet is to try a newer television and skip the converter. If you have one in your house, bring it to the camper, plug in the coax directly, and re-scan just like you would in your house. If you get television stations, there-in is your problem. Get a new television that has no dependency on the old external converters.

I would just bring a good working FLAT SCREEN TV from the house out to the trailer and see how it works... Or maybe better yet take one of the TVs from the trailer to the house and plug it in... The BEDROOM TV is usually sitting on a small fold down shelf. Should be easy to remove to another location.

This isn't suppose to this hard to figure out what is happening...

When the NATL BROADCAST changed over to digital TV signals way back then I gathered up all of my old heavy tube type ANALOG TV's and took them to the local dump here... When you use the converter box it will make the very nice watchable HIGH DEF TV Signal back like the old ANALOG TV signal. Can't think of a good reason to do that haha...

Watching HDTV is pretty nice quality here now. It either works very great or not at all... The days of snowy TV are long gone... You have to point the OTA outside antenna pretty close to the direction of the Digital TV town that is transmitting the ANTENNA TV Signal. We pick up all of the Washington DC ANTENNA TV signals just fine here in King George with our BATWING antenna which has the DIPOLEs on it and we are a good 60 miles away from DC. The BATWING Antenna is hard to beat for picking up the new digital TV signals...

Our BATWING looks like this... Point the DIPOLES toward the town with the HDTV transmitter like shown here..

If you have the older BATWING without the added DIPOLES it will work also but not as good as the model that has DIPOLES.

This is us watching High Def Digital TV way back in the woods with our OFF-ROAD POPUP trailer setup. We get good quality digital TV signals just about everywhere we go on our less than $200 24-inch WALMART VIZIO HDTV Flat screen TV set...

Like said above this isn't suppose to be hard to do haha... Keep plugging away at it I guess.

If there is a converter in the mix you have to assume it's too old. However, when you do a channel scan do you see the number of Digital and the number or Analog channels found (0 in both if nothing found)? If not, then it is an analog TV. If everything between the converter and the TV is connected correctly you WILL see that if found either channel 3 or channel 4 as the converter broadcasts that channel so you can access the converter menu. If you don't see that then it's not properly wired (or dead) or you have a Digital TV that you are trying to run through a converter which would not be the correct setup.
Keep in mind that by flat screen we are not really referring to the fact that the screen of the TV is flat. The TV should only be a few inches thick total. It would be listed as an LCD or LED/LCD and not one of the older style TV's that used a CRT tube and were 15" deep.
There were also some thin flat screens in the early days that were still analog. In most cases, doing the channel scan and looking at what it says about channels found (digital/analog) will give you a good start.

Check the owner's manual or use the menu to find out the "ABOUT THIS SET" if that's an option.

Now flat screens come in two sizes. WIDE (GO into that wall mart. all of 'em are) and "Narrow" (The old NTSC televisons were narrow) IF it is a WIDE SCREEN it likely and I stress the qualifier LIKELY can do ATSC (modern tv).

Now. all this assumes a prior owner did nto mess it up. if that is the case and you are near Flint. MI I can help you live. or in a few months Upstate SC. but you may need at least a talented non professional if not professional help.
