your right I rewatched full screen several times and its the left side - Cloud_DancerExplorer IIThe left front of the vehicle obviously dropped a good 3 inches, PLUS the vehicle veered to the LEFT. Are we talking about the same event?
- Kayteg1Explorer IIWhen we can speculate why stopping took such a long time (could cable cut the hose for air brakes?), I would quote old pilots wisdom

Personally I think the driver did a great job at keeping the vehicle upright and not hitting anyone in the opposite direction. He may have had the vehicle in partial control, considering the cables barrier and the grass terrain so he just coasted to a stop rather than to upset the balance by applying the brakes. He may also have been applying some throttle to maintain what control he had over the vehicle. In any case, the final outcome was as good as anyone could have done given the circumstances.
Really? I think he hit a few and a few more scrambled for their life not to get hit head on. - usersmanualExplorer

How is it the rig moved hard left when it appeared the RF tire let go?
Mike, I think it's apparent that it was the left front tire. It drops on the left side immediately on blow-out.
I think that you are seeing the shrapnel blowing out on the right side as the left tire explodes.
Safe travels,

I think the right front blew as it drops down on the right front
as it appears(to me) the right front lets go - Mr_Mark1Explorer

The vehicle had to be moving at a high speed to smash through the cable barrier. If it were creeping along, the barrier should have held.
It is kind of everyone to say the operator was not speeding, but my observation errs on the side what I've seen in real life, getting passed all the time by rigs just like that, as if I were standing still while traveling 60mph.
Speed limit = 75, so I do 75. Tires are rated for it, TOAD is capable of it. It is legal. We are fools if we believe it will be less of an impact at 65 vs 75. Still 40k you have to stop.
All vehicles, including the MH blowout, did what they had to do to avoid catastrophe. Great job by all.

Only on rv.net can the laws of physics be rewritten. I learn something new on here everyday.
Thank you
Yeah, prior to the rewriting a vehicle's kinetic energy would increase by the square of the velocity divided by 2.... - usersmanualExplorer

The Video I watched it appears to me that he clipped two and maybe 3 vehicles coming in the opposite direction.he really clipped the red truck bad for sure
as far as speed goes it did not look to me like he was going an excessive speed at the time of blow out - azrvingExplorer.
