I have reviewed 4 different tire pressure monitoring systems for our Class A RV. These include Pressure Pro, Doran Tire Pressure, Tire Stat, and Tire Sentry. I am totally confused. Has anyone had experience with any of these or can you recommend one I haven't found. I would appreciate any feedback

I have a Pressure Pro system that is residing in the "JUNK" drawer, as that is what it is, pure junk. Broke twice in the warranty period and they refused any warranty the 2nd time. Look for a TST system, as that will be what I buy next.

I've done a fair amount of analysis since I just upgraded my tpms. Here's my opinion.Tire Sentry is a good system, but is what I would call a passive system. It's pressure sensor is a mechanical device adjustable by the user that sends a signal to the monitor when pressure drops below a preselected value. It does not provide a reading on the monitor for tire pressure or tire temp. It does use replaceable batteries in the tire sensors. I used a Tire Sentry for years with very few problems, and these were corrected by cleaning the battery contacts, etc. Over a 5 year period, I had to replace 2 sensor transmitters, and the company support was excellent.Tire Tracker/Tire Minder and other labels of the same system provide tire pressure & temp on the monitor. I've never used this system. Most customers report good results. If you search for the various vendors for this system, notice that the warranty varies from one to multiple years depending upon vendor.The TST507 provides tire pressure & temp on the monitor. I've just purchased this system and so far I like it. It has replaceable batteries in the tire sensors. I think their 510 system has tire sensors that must be returned to the vendor for battery replacement. I've never used a 510 system.There are some other systems that seem to be from the same manufacturer as the TST systems that I've seen some posts of happy customers, but I have no experience with these either. One such system is that sold by EEZ RV PRODUCTS. I have no experience with this system either.I hope this info helps.Fred

Though not on a MH, I have the Tiretraker and pleased. I can't recall anyone saying anything bad about any of them, and the worst one has to be better than none. JMO

Good morning. We have used Pressure Pro for about 3 years, but kept having trouble with sensors not reading. So, went to TST with Flo-Thru sensors. Like the Flo-Thru sensors, but having trouble reading some on a recent long trip. Don't know if one is any better than the other. Looking to go to RVI Brake monitors when they come out with coach sensors. Good luck!

I recently purchased and installed a TST 507RV TPMS. First trip of about 2,000 miles and I am very pleased with it.

I've used my Pressure Pro system w/10 senders for over 6 years with only minor issues. They have replaced one sender free of charge so I was pleased with that. I'll say the worst system out there is better than none.

And when you run over something in the road that starts a leak down of one of your front tires, resulting in heat build-up, that in turn results in a sudden blow-out, that tire guage will be one of the items flying about as you leave the road. Be sure to grab it as it goes by because it's a good one.

My PressurePro has been faithfully reporting on the condition of my tires since 2006 without one problem.

I'm expecting the batteries will have to be changed soon, but so far the originals are still OK.

I've been saved several times by this wonderful system through the years.

I depend on it every time I shove off for a trip.

I know people who say they can tell when a rear wheel blows out, however, I was in a 40-foot RV when an inside rear tire blew out and the TPMS alert was the only indication that the blow out occurred. There was no noise or "feel" relating to the blow out. Presumably this could have lead to the outside rear on the same side also blowing out....or maybe he would have felt it in another bit of time...I didn't feel it and I was in the passenger seat.

I used handheld calibrated pressure gauge for years, but it didn't tell me anything about my tires when I was rolling down the road at 60 mph. Also I got tired of going out in the chilly rain to check the tires so I sometimes"assumed"turret were fine on those days. Went be without my Tire Trakers or equivalent again.

Haveing read the above comments I will stay with my hand held tire pressure gauge. However, be sure to get a good one. Not a $9.99 special. I am luckly that I can have mine checked at least once a year at lab that is tracable to the national standards.

We've had our tst507 for 3 years with zero problems. I had trouble with one sensor on install, they sent me a new one no questions asked.turned out to be operator error.

This spring I had a few low battery warnings so replaced all the batteries.

It paid for itself warning me of a bad tire the second season, I'd never leave home without it.

So far it is very easy to install and works very well. I like that the transmitters have replaceable batteries. The first system I purchased had three of the six transmitters go bad after two years and you have to purchase them in pairs at $50 each. I ended up throwing it away. That was the TST Tire Pressure Monitor System..I don't recommend it...

It would often take a very long time for the receiver to display the information on tires...also one transmitter went bad within a year..replaced under warranty. Then after another couple of years three went bad. That's when I trashed the system.

The Tire Minder kit I purchased comes with six transmitters AND an amplifier if you need it. I didn't need the amplifier. It reads the transmitter information immediately, although several of the pressures are off by a couple of pounds, it's within tolerances because it won't warn you 'til you are under by 10% less than the original pressure. Also has a warning when the pressure drops quickly (flat or blowout).

Just bought mine this spring and have used it only on a number of shorter trips (the long trip is in August). It works perfectly - very happy with it.

IF the OP wants to consider a system NOT cussed & discussed already, &
IF anybody wants to consider a system NOT comparably priced... ...

Since we're all out on the road, & running with 'the big dogs', consider what THEY use!

My major question is what do you do about the toad. Our toad already has factory installed internal pressure sendors as do most all newer vehicles. Can two internal sendors be installed on the same tire???? Monitoring toad tire pressure is as important as coach tire pressure. Our toad's "one inside, one outside" sendor works just fine.
