Using elbow fitting for water hookup

For some time now I have been using a metal elbow to hook up my water hose (for ease of connection). I like them very much. The problem I have is that they only last a short time, then they start leaking very badly. The only ones I have found are the inexpensive ones made my Camco. Has anyone found a better product that will last ?

Thanks for your help.

  • There is different quality of the 90 bends. The cast models are thicker and gives more surface area onto the washers for better connection. The less expensive ones are thin, bend and leak sometime even when new.
    Camco 90 degree connector

Where does yours end up leaking?

x2. I also replace the washer every spring. It's been on for years with no problems.
