Going for a new set of tires in a few days. I went to check the current tire pressure and I could not get to the inside tire stems on the dually. Tire store said they didn't have any, they would be installing regular steel stems. I see lots of them on Amazon ( so I can get them here in a couple days ), but no clue what works best, on a budget. There are lots of them using a braided steel hose. Some are all metal, but curved to certain degree's ( no idea which degree to buy ).I liked the type that airs both tires at the same time, but those are $56 per side.

If you need extenders, check out the ones Winnebago used on the 2007 Journey. They are of a plastic/phenolic like material. I used them for about seven years with no problems, no leakage until I replaced my tires and had the long stem metal truck valve stems installed.

Do not get extensions - get one piece extended vales from this place:

Solid Valves

They are really well made and have a plug that holds the extension steady. My extensions were vibrating so much they were wearing a groove in the hub. I called them to make sure I got the right kit and they were great to work with. Yes, they are not cheap but they are very well made and the company is great to work with.

What kind of a tire gauge do you have? At least for my rig, a dual chuck tire gauge with a straight-on foot at the end (rather than an angled one) works a lot more easily for getting to the inner valve stem. No extenders needed, just air through valve caps. I may have somewhat different wheel sizes or styles, of course; but I can say for sure that the style of tire gauge made a big difference for me.

Truck valve stems
I do not know what chassis and dual axle configuration is on your rig. I would go to a truck tire location and see what is being used.
The longer nearly straight ones were used on my inside tire and slightly bent to line up with holes in wheels. The nearly 180 degree ones were used on other dual. They also had to be bent slightly to line up.

I got the stems from here http://yourtireshopsupply.com/category/9_860_732/dually-valves-inner-dually-stems and had the tire shop install them. No more leaking extensions.
